Christophe Fiat
Christophe Fiat Christophe Fiat carries out a work of writer and performer.
From Lady Diana Spencer to the Twin Towers bombing, he studies our society, its cultural products, its phantasms, its fears. With the historical Reconstitution, project devoted to literature and dance, Christophe FIAT collaborates for the first time with other artists, in fact the dancer Rémy Héritier and the video artist Louise Armand. Parallel to his book “the historical Reconstitution an adventure of Louise Moore” (Al Dante, 2006), he undertakes here to build, over a long duration, the account of a contemporary epic. This one puts in scene the journalist Louise Moore, from her visit to the X-Ray camp on Guantanamo island to make a report, to her decapitation by the terrorists who kidnapped her. By using many references to the United States, their culture and in particular to their cinema, by peeling the speech which reigns on this side of the Atlantic on the United States, it is about the state of the French society which Christophe FIAT wants to speak. Meet within the framework of the Printemps de septembre, Toulouse in the CDC.
